Forgive us...

Our website is currently under construction, so we've had to resort to posting to our blog as a website for right now......we assure you that once everything is up and running it'll be well worth the wait!!

CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS!

I am happy to announce that WEIRD FANTASY MAGAZINE is now open to submissions!

About the Magazine: WEIRD FANTASY MAGAZINE is a new print and electronic publication looking to showcase the best in offbeat fantasy fiction. Published quarterly, WEIRD FANTASY will be available from all major online book retailers as well as online E-book retailers.

What We're Looking For:
We're looking for what our title is all about: weird fantasy. We love everything from pulp stories, film noir, and old monster movies, to surrealism and dark science fiction. Think Alfred Bester mixed with David Lynch and a little bit of Philip K. Dick. Creative blends of horror and fantasy always do well in our book. We don't just want every fantasy story everyone's seen before--send us something fresh, unique and innovative that will stick in our head.
Break boundaries and send us what you've got!
Word Length: <10,000 words, preferably around 2500-7500

Payment: $25

Rights: We are asking for first-time print rights for stories to be printed in our magazine. For published pieces we ask for First Time Print Rights. (Keep in mind that most publications will not publish pieces that have been published in print, eBook, or on the web, so for all intents and purposes after your work is published by us it can only be marketed as a reprint, which limits your availability to other markets and pay rates. It is up to you on giving up your First Publishing Right for a token payment is really what you wish to go through with!)

How to Submit: Send your stories as a Word or RTF attachment in an email to weirdfantasymag@gmail.com. Also, a short author bio or author's credits would be nice.

Thank you for your interest in WEIRD FANTASY MAGAZINE and I hope to read your stories soon!
